“Food, that makes people talk to each other“. Cooking classes at Goldhahn & Sampson in Berlin.
– An evening with focus on how to cook for friends and family, how to be a good host, how to invite, how to set a menu, how to choose the best ingredients and recipes. How to do your best, – and how you by that improves and supports the talks around the table, and create a magical evening with excellent food, sweet people and interesting talks.
After an introduction we cook 5-6 dishes together, learn, listen and talk while we cook, share stories and good ideas. We set a beautiful table – and eat together all of us, and test if our concept works as we wanted.
The menu is seasonal based, italian & internationally inspired – very green, very festive and very tasty.

In the summer we’ll arrange more cooking classes in our summer restaurant in Tversted, Denmark – and we also gladly arrange a special one, for your organization or company, either in Berlin or in Denmark. Just give us a call or send an email.

The teacher, Jørgen Smidstrup runs the pop up restaurant Camillo’s Kitchen, he’s based in Berlin and Copenhagen, and travel the world with his food concept. He’s chef name is Camillo and he’s quite sure that he in a former life was Italian… In the summer he and his partner run Camillo’s Summer Kitchen at the Danish west coasts for a period of three months.
In 2017 they came out with the cook book “Food, that makes people talk to each other“ (in Danish, which is he’s native tongue). In 2020 the book “Eat & Knit“ with food recipes and knitting patterns landed in the bookstores – both in an English and a Danish version. In 2022 a new book will hit the market “Camillo’s sense of summer“ – in the first place coming out in the Danish, under the tittle “Camillos fornemmelse for sommer“.
